Great Search Engines!

Hello learners!

Here are a few good search engines that will hopefully be helpful to you!
1. Google: I expect that most of you have used Google to search for websites, images, and maybe even video, but were aware of its scholar search? This search will connect you to a number of scholarly articles that would be great to use in any research project! Google also has maps, news, books, and more! Just click here to look for yourself!
2. Wikipedia: Yes, Wikipedia can be good! I know many of you have been told to avoid Wikipedia because it is a "wiki" site. (Which means that the information on this site can be edited by anyone and is therefore not always accurate.) However, if we keep that in mind, I believe that we can use Wikipedia as a great starting point for research. Just make sure you check the information you find there with a more reliable source! Click here to take a look at the extensive information available on Wikipedia.
3. MacTutor: This site is filled with interesting information about math history! You can explore this site in the traditional search form or have fun finding mathematicians who share your birthday! You can find mathematicians who born near you or learn about mathematical topics that interest you! Click here to explore the world of math!
